in 2007 Kim Zanni, the owner and creator of Gelato Di Babbo brand introduced the small town of Lititz, Pa to her made from scratch gelato. She loaded her cart with her all natural, freshly made authentic gelato and from that day on the demand for her creation just took off.
Kim spent a decade obsessing over her recipes. She traveled to Bronte, Italy to find the best pistachio in the world that grows in the volcanic rock of Mt. Etna. She worked with farmer to source the best ingredients for her products. Her ability to create any custom flavor you can think of for her gelato retained the interest of her customers.
In 2014 she was honored to be part of the Gelato World Tour from Italy. Kim is very passionate over her love of gelato. This will become evident after the 1st taste of Gelato Di Babbo.
Now after a decade of branding and competing against other national brands on supermarket shelves in 25 states. She has decided to go back to her roots by producing small batches of her handmade gelato.
We offer nationwide shipping with a variety of options. Products have dry ice and cooler costs worked into the price. There is a minimum order of 3 pints to cover the costs with a maximum of 5 pints per a shipment. Gelato is shipped out once a week, after they are freshly made.
We are not responsible for damaged products due to negligence. Gelato Di Babbo is is unable to guarantee time of delivery, as this is all subject to the local carrier.
Place in freezer once it arrives until it is ready to be eaten. For the true gelato experience place in the refrigerator for 30 mins after removing it from the freezer.
